GIRLS COMPETITIVE PROGRAMS
Main Beach competes in the Northern California Volleyball Association (NCVA) under the umbrella of USA Volleyball, the national governing body for amateur volleyball at all levels of competition. The Northern California Region extends north to the Oregon border, south to Fresno, and west to San Francisco and east to the Utah border. The NCVA website is a source of information on tournaments, dates, times and places as well as team status for the Power and Premier Leagues.
Competitive teams for ages 12-18
Elite Teams
The Main Beach Elite teams are the club’s top-notch teams and are at the highest level of competition. These teams are committed to going to Junior Nationals and will get exposure to college recruiters through Junior National Qualifying tournaments as well as Junior Nationals.
These teams participate in NCVA Power League (5 tournaments), two other designated tournaments and the USA Nationals.
Travel and food expenses are not included. Practices are three days per week.
Power/Premier League
The Power/Premier teams will compete either in the NCVA Power or Premier league (5 tournaments) depending on the level of the team selected at tryouts. They will also compete in two other designated tournaments.

6th - 8th Grade Fall Competitive Season
Main Beach offers a 3 month program from mid-August through October for 6th - 8th graders. This program is for players at any skill level who wish to compete locally. Coachability is one of the best attributes of a player especially at this age. With hard work and perseverance skill progression is inevitable.
